Job summary

Rockland Trust is seeking a Relationship Banker to build meaningful client relationships and deliver a high-energy banking experience across in-branch and digital channels.

You’ll engage customers, identify financial needs, and cross-sell deposit and loan products while delivering a trusted advisory experience. The role emphasizes cash handling, transactions, and adherence to regulatory guidelines in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2-4 years of experience in a sales and service environment such as retail, hospitality, or financial services.
• Notary Public and NMLS certification are required.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; able to operate a variety of equipment and mobile devices.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong sales orientation with ability to balance multiple priorities.
• Ability to work in a flexible schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Engage in consultative conversations to build rapport and expand relationships, earning trust to find financial solutions.
• Work independently and with the team to maximize customer engagement and sales opportunities.
• Process traditional customer transactions accurately within guidelines, including cash handling and deposits.
• Answer routine and complex questions on accounts, products, policies and procedures; provide follow-through for resolution.
• Create innovative touchpoints through daily digital outreach and a cohesive multi-channel experience.
• Cross-sell bank deposit and loan products using a needs-based consultative approach.
• Utilize Salesforce for customer interactions, conversations, and follow-up.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager to develop a culture of strong lobby management and outreach.
