Job summary

First Bank is seeking a Banking Specialist II to provide exceptional client service at the teller window, open new accounts, and assist with loan applications. You will handle transactions accurately and help clients navigate bank products, while maintaining compliance and security protocols.

As a valued team member, you’ll work to expand services, balance cash drawers, and support coaching of Banking Specialist I.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of client service experience preferred.
• Previous cash-handling experience required.
• Previous banking experience strongly preferred.
• NLMS registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open new accounts and maintain existing accounts for clients.
• Explain products, rates, terms and disclosures; assist with loan applications.
• Promote Online Banking, Bill Pay, ATM network and other services.
• Assist in processing transactions and balance cash drawers accurately.
• Support branch audits, security procedures and compliance tasks.
• Coach Banking Specialist I and drive sales referrals.
