Job summary

ChoiceOne Financial Services, Inc. seeks a Universal Banker in Grand Rapids to provide exemplary customer service, educate clients on deposit and loan products, and help open accounts.

You will drive sales through a disciplined process, process day-to-day transactions, and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations. This non-exempt role reports to the Assistant Branch Manager / Branch Manager and requires accuracy and relationship-building.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum six months cash handling experience preferred.
• One year of customer service in banking or retail sales preferred.
• Successful completion of RAP (Retail Advancement Program) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer challenges.
• Educate customers on consumer deposit and lending products.
• Drive sales using a disciplined sales process and banking technology.
• Obtain referrals and deepen customer relationships across the bank.
• Open new personal and business accounts per policy.
