Qualifications

• OR
• High school diploma or GED with 1 year proven proactive sales experience
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service
• Well-organized with good time management and prioritization skills
• Demonstrated financial services product knowledge

Responsibilities

• Play key role in Relationship Management, Sales Process and Risk Management
• Complete basic research on customer profiles to tailor discussions to financial goals
• Identify customer financial needs and present product and service options with internal partners
• Proactively reach out to clients via email or phone to educate on products/services
• Onboard new customers through outreach and open accounts
• Establish trust with existing clients through proactive outreach
• Schedule appointments and prepare for meetings with pre-call planning
• Perform customer servicing interactions and adhere to risk controls
• Promote M&T Bank brand and maintain internal controls and audit readiness
• Complete related duties as assigned and meet federal SAFE Act registration requirements
