Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of retail banking experience required.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of consumer and business products and services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in consumer and business lending.

Responsibilities

• Opens and processes deposits and loans, including complex retail products such as consumer loans, VISA merchant accounts and small business loans, providing solutions and cross-selling services.
• Maintains direct contact with clients and provides proactive solutions and problem resolutions.
• Processes branch tasks including opening/closing, overdraft monitoring, wire transfers, and collections, stop payments, and branch controls.
• Facilitates review of operational/audit requirements and supports remediation to improve quality.
• Acts as back-up to personal banking team for opening new accounts and gathering credit information.
• Maintains responsibility for cash drawer and balances.
• Monitors sales and service goals.
• Provides guidance and training to branch team.
• May supervise associates and act as Branch Manager when required.
