Job summary

Regions Bank in Ridgeland, Mississippi is seeking a Relationship Banker II to meet with customers and prospects in person and by phone to assess financial needs and offer Regions' products and guidance.

You will drive branch targets by expanding relationships, educating customers on loans and deposits, and promoting digital solutions while maintaining a strong customer focus and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed.
• Ability to handle cash and process transactions.
• Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels.
• Ability to use a computer regularly, including typing and monitoring a display.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; Life Insurance License may be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Identifies customer needs and provides appropriate guidance and banking solutions.
• Makes outbound calls from lead lists to expand relationships and acquire customers.
• Educates customers on Regions' Consumer and Business products and services including loans and deposits.
• Educates customers on digital banking options such as mobile, online, and ATM access.
• Delivers a consistent, excellent customer experience and assists with transactions as needed.
• Owns issue resolution and refers complex goals to specialists as required.
• Follows bank policies and regulators; assists in managing operational risks.
