Job summary

First Financial Bank is seeking a customer-focused Teller at our Hammond, IN location to open and maintain accounts, operate a teller drawer, and support client engagement through proactive conversations and follow-up at our branch.

You will uphold all operational and regulatory standards, assist clients with transactions at the branch, drive-thru, by phone, or email, and collaborate with district specialists to grow core client relationships and deliver a first-class experience.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of client-service experience in a retail banking environment.
• 3-4 years of sales and service experience with a proven record of meeting sales and service goals.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Possibility to obtain notary authorization.
• Strong knowledge of bank products and solid sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Open accounts and maintain them.
• Operate a teller drawer as directed by management.
• Support client engagement through active calling, client conversations, and follow-up.
• Collaborate with District Specialists to execute retail strategies and grow client relationships.
• Assist clients with transactions at the branch, drive-thru, by phone, and via email.
• Adhere to compliance and regulatory procedures.
