Job summary

Trustmark is seeking a Relationship Banker in Mississippi to identify customer needs and connect them with banking products and services. You will drive sales through proactive service while maintaining strong customer relationships and processing a variety of cash and non-cash transactions.

Responsibilities include helping customers with deposits, loans, insurance, and cash management; balancing cash, meeting quarterly sales goals, and mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of face‑to‑face customer service experience or prior Trustmark Relationship Banker experience.
• Able to learn Trustmark lending guidelines and process loans within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and refer through proactive sales/service efforts.
• Service, sell, and cross-sell deposit accounts, loan products, insurance products, etc.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience following Trustmark’s service standards.
• Safeguard bank assets and process transactions accurately.
• Balance cash drawer daily and ensure documents are complete.
• Achieve sales and referral goals quarterly while providing excellent service.
• Make outreach calls to customers and prospects.
• Comply with bank policies and performance standards.
• Coach and mentor Relationship Bankers and Tellers.
• Review/approve various transactions including night drop logs and cash drawings.
• Handle cash shipment and vault management for a branch.
• Oversee consumer loan origination as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
