Our Opportunity

The Relationship Banker II/Universal Associate II will support CCF by developing and nurturing relationships with our membership, working diligently to find real positive solutions for their financial needs. They will utilize their strong product knowledge to promote, educate, and cross-sell financial products and services to meet the current and future financial needs of our members. Offers appropriate products/services to deepen member relationships with CCF in accordance with CCF's goals and growth targets. Serves as a professional representative of the credit union through all member interactions and ensures each member receives outstanding member service by performing within CCF’s vision, mission, goals, and living our service promises through inbound calls, outbound calls, email, and in-person interactions.

What You'll Do In This Role
  • Utilize a consultative interview process to identify opportunities and deliver creative financial solutions, including facilitating the mortgage lending process, opening and maintaining consumer accounts, processing loan applications, and other duties to deepen member relationships. Educate members on product benefits, including calculating loan terms, rates, amounts financed, and payment amounts.
  • Process financial transactions, update account information, and document member interviews accurately and efficiently in our core system.
  • Research issues and collaborate with internal departments to resolve concerns.
  • Foster cooperation and communication with the Centralized Lending and Loan Processing staff to ensure seamless service, including following up through the loan closing process.
  • Perform support duties such as scanning, faxes, and working daily reports.
  • Comply with all policies, laws, and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, and OFAC.
What You'll Bring To CCF
  • Six months to two years of related experience, including preparatory positions.
  • Minimum 2 years in proactive sales and at least 1 year in banking/credit union roles involving account opening and loan applications.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Financial product knowledge preferred.
  • Basic math skills, strong attention to detail, and proven customer service and sales skills.
  • Ability to be bonded and to obtain/maintain a notary designation.

This position is based in Centerline, MI.
