Qualifications

Job description

Job Title:

Senior Loan Officer, Retail

Location:

Remote - CA (Southern)

What you'll do:
  1. AmeriHome Distributed Retail Loan Officers work directly with Clients and third-party referral sources (Realtors, Builders, CPA's, Financial Advisors, etc.) to generate both purchase and refinance loans for Clients. Our Loan Officers build rapport, analyze financial situations, and determine the appropriate loan product to meet our client's goals. Our customers' experience is our primary focus, and our Loan Officers are required to have best-in-class customer service skills.
  2. Base + monthly incentive: No draw (additional compensation for self-sourced and purchase business)
  3. Ramp-up incentive: Typically for the first 3 months
  4. States Licensing: Company-paid licensing, continuing education, and annual state/NMLS renewals
  5. Speak with borrowers to assess their loan requirements. Consult with clients on loan options that are best suited for their needs, clearly presenting benefits and options.
  6. Be the go-to person for the borrower throughout the loan application process.
  7. Ensure a seamless and smooth process for the client by building a strong partnership with the operations team.
  8. Utilize technology to multitask and manage a large pipeline.
  9. Assist borrowers with purchase transactions by utilizing our nationwide realtor referral network.
  10. Maintain pre-established daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
What you'll need:
  • Proven successful consumer lending sales experience (minimum 2 years), working with Agency, FHA, and Jumbo products including Non-QM.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient computer skills including Encompass (LOS) and Velocify (CRM).
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills (Bi-lingual fluency a plus).
  • Must have strong sales and closing techniques.
  • Ability to take initiative and responsibility.
  • Strong problem-solving ability with multiple systems and scenarios.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excellent computer skills.
  • Competitive and driven.
  • Active listening skills.
