The role focuses on building personal connections, processing transactions, guiding customers to Regions’ digital tools, and collaborating with teammates to resolve inquiries. Strong communication and accuracy are essential, with overtime eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed.
• Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions.
• Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels.
• Ability to use a computer on a frequent basis, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to twenty (20) pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provides a consistent optimal customer experience on the cash line while handling deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other teller transactions.
• Answers inquiries regarding products and services and fulfills basic servicing requests such as cards, information changes, PIN resets, checks.
• Develops relationships with customers and stays informed about their relationship with the bank.
• Educates customers on standard consumer products and digital solutions (mobile, online, ATM).
• Assists branch and team members with basic tasks to aid in problem resolution.
• Refers customers to internal experts for more complex financial goals.
• Follows bank processes and adheres to laws and regulations, reporting risks as needed.
• Achieves branch targets by identifying needs and guiding Regions’ solutions.
• May conduct outbound calls to educate customers on emerging technology and meet financial needs.
