Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to build client relationships through face-to-face interactions and proactive outreach. You will assess banking needs, present deposit and loan products, open accounts, and process basic transactions.

In this role you will educate clients on digital banking tools and services, collaborate with branch colleagues, and ensure a high-quality, accurate client experience. A valid NMLS registration is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically less than four years of retail banking experience.

Responsibilities

• Builds and fosters relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Identifies solutions for new and existing clients by effectively engaging and communicating with clients.
• Maintains a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services including digital products and self-service technologies.
• Provides a consistent optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
• Develops collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners to best serve clients.
• Opens new consumer and business accounts, completes service requests and submits credit applications.
• Proactively educates clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services to assist with meeting their financial needs.
