Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker I in Salem, OR for a 30-hour per week schedule. This role focuses on building trusted client relationships, educating customers on deposits and loans, and guiding them through digital banking tools to meet financial goals.

You will open accounts, handle service requests, and collaborate with the branch team to ensure accurate, premium service while adhering to banking policies and NMLS requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems.
• Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies.
• Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset.
• Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively.
• Experience in the financial services industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds relationships with clients via in-person, appointment, and virtual channels.
