Job summary

Arvest Bank in Springfield, MO is seeking a Relationship Banker who will focus on product sales and exceptional customer service, developing new relationships and strengthening existing ones by offering appropriate financial solutions and guiding customers to self‑service options.

The position is structured in three levels (1–3) with training, proficiency milestones, and potential advancement to leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current NMLS SAFE Act Registration or ability to be registered within 30 days required.
• Demonstrated sales and customer service experience preferred.
• Financial service provider experience preferred.
• College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to achieving branch sales goals through a consultative sales approach with new and existing customers, following the sales process defined in the CFB Retail Sales Playbook.
• Proactively make outbound calls to generate sales and strengthen customer relationships.
• Identify opportunities to sell consumer loans and facilitate loan closings with underwriting.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, acknowledge customers promptly, and follow the complaint process to ensure satisfaction.
• Open and process simple, moderate, or complex deposit accounts.
• Assist customers with deposit risk management and day-to-day banking questions.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of products/services and digital options, including competition awareness.
• Participate in branch promotions and marketing initiatives.
