Job summary

Truist is seeking a customer-focused professional at our Cary, NC branch to deliver exceptional client service and build relationships. You will engage customers in person and by phone, offer financial solutions, and collaborate with specialists to grow the business.

Responsibilities include handling teller duties when needed, meeting service and sales targets, and staying compliant with policies while expanding client ownership of financial goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and building relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment including NMLS background check.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs and occasional locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide industry-leading client service in person and by phone.
• Develop and expand client relationships with consultative conversations and referrals.
• Cross-trained to perform teller duties as needed.
• Meet or exceed branch client service and sales targets.
• Refer complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participate in leadership routines of the Retail Community Bank.
• Attend sales, service and product knowledge training to advance skills.
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Ensure a welcoming, courteous client experience during transactions.
