NBT is hiring a Relationship Banker in New York to deliver high-quality customer service and responsive support. You will efficiently handle deposits, consumer lending transactions, and account openings, while educating customers and cross-selling suitable products.

This role emphasizes consultative service and strong problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. The position also involves community CRA participation and occasional training duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year experience in related banking positions preferred.
• Customer service, sales and consumer lending experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Process daily transactions and account servicing with accuracy and efficiency, including teller-type tasks and deposits.
• Provide consultative service to understand customer needs and deliver viable solutions, and refer to business partners as needed.
• Discuss credit reports and scores; perform cross-sell and relationship-building activities with customers.
• Participate in community events supporting CRA goals and assist with training as needed.
