Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6–12 months of customer service, cash-handling, retail, or related experience.
• Ability to balance a cash drawer and follow established controls.
• Strong verbal and written communication with customers.
• Ability to build relationships, cross-sell products, and meet sales goals.
• Ability to obtain and maintain NMLS registration after hire.
• Flexibility to work Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, check cashing, transfers, and other teller transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Receive, count, verify, and safeguard cash and negotiable instruments.
• Balance the teller drawer daily and research discrepancies.
• Provide prompt, professional service while verifying client identity and transaction details.
• Assist clients with accounts, online and mobile banking, and other branch services.
• Follow cash-control, security, privacy, and loss-prevention procedures.
• Open/close daily procedures and support branch operations as needed.
• Recognize unusual activity and elevate concerns per bank policy.
• Build client relationships and identify opportunities to cross-sell appropriate products.
• Maintain knowledge of retail banking products and digital tools.
