Chase is hiring a Relationship Banker in our New York branch to deliver exceptional service, build and retain client relationships, and provide thoughtful financial solutions using Chase's digital tools.

The role requires sales experience, strong communication, and compliance with banking regulations, with licensing support provided post-hire. You will collaborate with our team of experts to meet clients' financial needs and help them navigate complex financial products.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results.
• Ability to create memorable experiences for clients and elevate the client experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with proven ability to tailor features and benefits of products and services to clients with differing needs.
• Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail, providing a consistent client experience.
• Operate within established risk parameters/tolerances and meet risk/compliance obligations, including required training.
• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• SIE exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements; unlicensed applicants must obtain licenses within 180 days of hire via JPMorganChase licensing program.
• Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.

Responsibilities

• Put clients first and deliver attentive, friendly service to create a welcoming environment.
• Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them in person and by phone to build lasting relationships and tailor recommendations.
• Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand clients and build trust.
• Educate clients on technology solutions like the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to meet banking needs anytime.
• Learn products, services, and procedures quickly to consult on banking solutions and connect clients to experts.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
