Job summary

Hudson Valley Credit Union is seeking a Relationship Advisor in Middletown, NY. This role focuses on delivering top-tier member service through accurate transaction processing and a consultative needs-based sales approach to grow and retain member relationships.

The position requires a high school diploma, NY Notary license within 12 months, NMLS registration, and at least 1 year of customer service and sales experience in a financial setting. Cash handling experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent certificate required
• NYS Notary Public license within 12 months of employment required
• NMLS registration required
• Minimum 1 year customer service and sales experience in financial institution or retail environment
• Previous Teller or cash handling experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Process transactions accurately and educate members on channels (branch, Internet Banking, mobile app, audio response, Contact Center)
• Handle large volumes of cash and negotiable items; assist with branch operations
• Open new memberships, accounts, loans; refer to branch partners for additional services
• Adhere to policies; use systems to support cross-selling of products and services
• Acquire knowledge of credit union products through training; train new staff as needed
• Meet or exceed individual and team goals using the Sales and Service model
• Participate in required training including BSA; participate in teams, projects and initiatives
• Embrace HVCU guiding principles and contribute to a professional teamwork environment
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
