Job summary

Great American Insurance Group, GAIC Great American Insurance Company, is seeking a Reinsurance Analyst to join our Los Angeles team. This role supports treaty and facultative reinsurance processes through data compilation, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will work on-site in Downtown Los Angeles four days a week with one remote day, interfacing with underwriting, claims, operations and finance to ensure compliant, efficient reinsurance operations and timely information flow.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, or minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to establish priorities and meeting deadlines.
• High attention to detail with sound decision making and problem resolution skills required.
• Ability to build trusting working relationships while delivering high service standards.
• On-site at our Downtown Los Angeles office four days a week, with the flexibility to work one day remotely.

Responsibilities

• Assist in communication and coordination of reinsurance schedules and meetings.
• Adhere to established reinsurance guidelines, procedures, and internal controls to support compliance consistency.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
