Job summary

Great American Insurance Group in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Reinsurance Analyst to join the team. The role focuses on supporting treaty and facultative reinsurance processes, data gathering, and coordinating schedules with internal partners.

Candidates should have an associate degree or 6+ years of relevant experience, with 2+ years in property & casualty insurance, and strong communication and organizational skills. On-site four days a week with one remote day, non-visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to establish priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • High attention to detail with sound decision making and problem resolution skills required.
  • Ability to build trusting working relationships while delivering high service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in compiling and organizing data, reports, and documentation to support treaty and facultative reinsurance processes.

  • Escalate complex issues to senior reinsurance staff.

Salary Range: $64,860.00 -$86,940.00
