Job summary

MSIG USA, the US-based subsidiary of MS&AD Insurance Group, is seeking a Reinsurance Operations Analyst to support accounting and operations functions. The role focuses on data validation, system reconciliation, and processing of reinsurance transactions while collaborating with stakeholders to drive process improvements.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, with strong problem solving and attention to data quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 0–2 years of related insurance and reinsurance experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile assumed and ceded reinsurance transactions across multiple systems.
• Research and resolve discrepancies between source systems and accounting data.
• Assist with historical data migrations and validation for delegated authority programs.
• Support data mapping reviews and improve data quality across platforms.
• Participate in user acceptance testing and defect remediation for new platforms.
