Job summary

Msig USA, the US-based subsidiary of MS&AD Insurance Group, is seeking a Business Analyst – Reinsurance in a hybrid role based in Warren, NJ. You will bridge Underwriting, Claims, Finance, and the Reinsurance platform vendor to capture requirements and drive delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in insurance/reinsurance, strong SQL, Excel, and experience with Reinsurance platforms such as PRS, Duck Creek, or Sapiens.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Business Analyst role in Insurance or Reinsurance.
• Experience with assumed/direct business, treaty vs facultative reinsurance, and regulatory reporting.
• Translate business needs into requirements, user stories, and tests.
• Strong analytical and testing skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary BA for Reinsurance and Finance leadership and teams.
• Document requirements, epics, features, and user stories aligned with Agile priorities.
• Facilitate discovery, process mapping, and UAT/test scenario development.
• Coordinate with vendor teams and support release reviews and adoption.
