*** THIS IS A FULL TIME REMOTE TEMPORARY POSITION FOR 2-3 MONTHS ***

JCW is currently working on behalf of a insurance consulting and service provider seeking a Reinsurance Claims Adjuster with a background in casualty claims. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed claims analysis and has experience working with complex reinsurance agreements, particularly in casualty lines such as general liability, environmental, and/or asbestos exposures.

Responsibility:

• Evaluate reinsurance claim submissions for completeness and accuracy, confirm coverage based on contract language, and ensure appropriate documentation is in place.
• Accurately record, track, and reconcile claims within internal systems, including monitoring aggregate deductibles and premium reinstatement when applicable.
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including finance and data teams, to support reporting and ensure smooth flow of claims-related data.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of reinsurance claims experience, specifically in casualty lines; experience with environmental and asbestos claims is strongly preferred.
• In-depth understanding of reinsurance contracts and the ability to interpret and apply policy terms to complex loss submissions.
