Qualifications

• Experience in Medical Billing, A/R, and/or Collections in healthcare or insurance.
• Knowledge of HCFA, UB, ICD9/10, and CPT coding preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and web-based tools.
• Strong customer service and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviews unpaid accounts and takes action to ensure payment.
• Contacts payers regarding reimbursement for unpaid accounts 30+ days or more.
• Contacts patients and payers to collect information or balances.
• Provides excellent customer service to branches, team, and payers.
• Analyzes denial data and develops AR action plans to resolve issues.
• Keeps leadership informed of trends and progress on AR efforts.
