Savista in Charlotte, NC seeks an Accounts Receivable Specialist II to ensure timely collection of government or commercial healthcare insurance receivables. You will verify eligibility, update records, and work claims to resolution.

Candidates should have 2+ years AR follow-up experience in healthcare, strong payer communication, and proficiency with Excel and AR systems. You will also write appeal letters, research EOBs, monitor deadlines, and support HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in healthcare insurance accounts receivable follow-up.
• Experience with payer sites for appeals/reconsiderations, benefits verification, and online claims follow-up.
• Experience reviewing EOB and UB-04 forms to conduct A/R activities.
• Knowledge of accounts receivable practices, denial overturns, and third-party payer processes.

Responsabilités

• Verifies patient eligibility and authorization for services via payer sites or phone conversations.
• Updates patient demographics and insurance information in systems.
• Researches unpaid or denied claims and monitors ICN/DCN.
• Contacts payers by phone or written correspondence to secure payment of claims.
