Job summary

The Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County, Inc. is seeking a Reimbursement Specialist to join our team in a telecommute capacity. This full-time role supports timely provider payments by entering data and managing attendance in SSIS.

You will review rosters, verify documentation, and prepare reimbursement reports while ensuring compliance with state guidelines and agency policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of related work experience.
• Experience with high-volume data entry.
• Experience using online systems; audit/review experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter and update provider information in the payment system per funding/state guidelines.
• Process provider attendance in SSIS to facilitate payment in a timely manner.
• Review attendance rosters for completeness and anomalies per policy and rules.
• Verify documentation such as absences according to attendance policies.
• Prepare and distribute provider reports and correspondence regarding reimbursements.
• Research and process prior period adjustments to provider payments.
• Monitor attendance post-audit and report monitoring results.

The Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County is looking for a Reimbursement Specialist to join our team!

Location and Hours:

This position is designated as Telecommute. This is a full-time position, and business hours at the Boynton location is Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Longer hours, evenings, and weekends may be necessary on occasion.

Pay:

up to $20.50 per hour commensurate with experience.

What You'll Do:

• Enters and updates provider information into the ELCBC's payment system according to funding and state guidelines.
• Responsible for the timely processing of provider attendance in the Single Statewide Information System (SSIS) to facilitate provider payment.
• Review provider attendance rosters for completeness and anomalies, in accordance with agency policy, and federal, state, and local business rules.
• Verifies documentation as per Coalition attendance policies, such as absences.
• Prepare and distribute provider reports and correspondence regarding reimbursement activities.
• Research, review, document, prepare, and process prior period adjustments to provider issued payments.
• Conducts post audit attendance monitoring in accordance with established policies and procedures and prepares reports of monitoring results.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from an accredited four-year College or university in a related degree or experience where 2 years of relevant work experience is equivalent to one year of college.
• Two to five years related experience and/or training.
• Experience with high volume accurate data entry.
• Experience using and explaining of online systems and compliance/file audit/review is a plus.
