Job summary

Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, Missouri, seeks a Reimbursement Representative to join our Clinic Central Billing team. You will perform clinic billing functions and manage follow-up on patient accounts to secure payment, working 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Full-time daytime role. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and experience with medical billing; knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Computer experience; medical billing experience preferred.
• Skills: ICD-10 and CPT knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing billing functions related to the clinics.
• Managing follow-up on patient accounts and resolving issues to obtain payment.
• Resolving edits in Expanse, SSI, and managing denials from payers
• Utilizing payer websites to obtain claim status and eligibility information
• Resolving credit balances by requesting refunds or adjustments
