Job summary

University Hospitals Rehabilitation Hospital in Beachwood, OH, is seeking a PRN Rehabilitation Technician for inpatient rehabilitation. You will support licensed therapists, help patients reach therapy goals, transport patients, and keep therapy spaces clean and ready for sessions.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and CPR certification, with 6–12 months of rehab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6-12 months of relevant experience in a rehabilitation setting.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong communication with the rehab team.

Responsibilities

• Follow patient care tasks as determined by the OTR/RPT to help patients achieve therapy goals.
• Safely transport patients to and from therapy and other activities.
• Communicate clearly (verbally and in writing) with members of the rehabilitation team.
• Observe and recognize patient reactions to treatment; follow instructions accurately.
• Work under the direction and supervision of licensed therapists within established policies and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of therapy areas, equipment, and supplies.
