Job summary

University Hospitals Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician for PRN inpatient services in Beachwood, OH. The role supports licensed therapists and helps transport patients, maintains therapy areas, and communicates with the rehab team to meet therapy goals.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and CPR certification; 6–12 months of rehab experience strongly recommended.

How you’ll contribute

ARehabilitation Technicianwho excels in this role:

• Follow patient care tasks as determined by the OTR/RPT to help patients achieve therapy goals.

• Safely transport patients to and from therapy and other activities.

• Communicate clearly (verbally and in writing) with members of the rehabilitation team.

• Observe and recognize patient reactions to treatment; follow instructions accurately.

• Works under the direction and supervision of licensed therapists within established policies and procedures.

• Maintains cleanliness and readiness of therapy areas, equipment, and supplies.

What we’re looking for
