Job summary

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read technical procedures and policy manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

• Assist with and perform setup for physical, occupational, and speech therapy treatments.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control and equipment maintenance protocols.
• Communicate routinely with supervisor and therapists.
• Assist in scheduling needs discussions with therapists of record.
• Transport, transfer and prepare patients and equipment as directed by therapists.
• Complete and submit logs and forms as directed by supervisor.
• Direct clinical questions to supervising Therapist and report unusual occurrences.
