Job summary

Terros Health seeks a Rehabilitation Specialist to join our interdisciplinary team at Oak Recovery Health Center in Phoenix. You will work with individuals diagnosed with serious mental illness or general mental health needs under Court Ordered Treatment, providing supports to help clients reach recovery and employment goals.

Full-time, 40 hours weekly, standard hours Monday–Friday, with full benefits package including 401K and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required or preferred.
• Experience in rehabilitation or mental health services is desirable.
• Ability to work within Court Ordered Treatment contexts.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with identifying treatment and recovery goals and provide supportive services to help clients reach employment, education, and community involvement goals.
• Implement services identified in Individual Service Plans and coordinate rehabilitation-related services.
• Communicate and document client progress toward their recovery.
• Embrace the recovery philosophy and promote a safe recovery environment.
• Use motivational interviewing and supportive listening to engage clients.

Seeking a Rehabilitation Specialist to join our interdisciplinary team working with individuals diagnosed with a Serious Mental Illness (SMI) or General Mental Health diagnosis under Court Ordered Treatment at our Oak Recovery Health Center.

Full-Time Employment: 40 hours per week
Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Location: 4451 E. Oak St., Phoenix AZ, 85008

Duties Include

• Assist clients with identifying treatment and recovery goals, and provide supportive services to help clients reach their employment, education, and community involvement goals.
• Implement services identified in Individual Service Plans, and coordinate rehabilitation-related services for clients served on the clinical team.
• Communicate and document client progress toward their recovery.
• Embrace the recovery philosophy and promotes a safe recovery environment for clients.
• Use brief clinical interventions, Motivational Interviewing, and supportive listening skills to engage and support clients receiving services.
• Engage and provide direct support to clients’ natural support systems.
• Work in partnership with co-located Employment Specialists and RSA Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors, community program providers, and other parties involved to assist clients in maintaining employment, education, and other meaningful daily activities.
