Job summary

Lifepoint Health’s Kent Hospital in Warwick, RI is seeking a Manager of Rehabilitation. This fulltime, exempt leadership role directs inpatient rehabilitation services, coordinates operations, and ensures high-quality patient-centered care across acute care, medical-surgical and inpatient rehab populations.

The position emphasizes staff development, program leadership, regulatory compliance, and ongoing collaboration with physicians and the care team, with clinical presence as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-LLanguage Pathology from an accredited program required
• Current and unrestricted PT, OT, or SLP license in the state where services are rendered
• Experience in rehabilitation and/or in a long-term care setting preferred
• CPR/BLS
• Current driver's license, if required by facility

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for rehabilitation services supporting acute care, medical-surgical, and inpatient rehabilitation populations
• Coordinate departmental operations, manage staff, and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care
• Develop and implement clinical programs, promote operational and financial performance, and ensure regulatory compliance
• Staff development and performance management, quality improvement initiatives, and collaboration with physicians and the care team
• Maintain an active clinical presence by providing patient care as needed and communicate progress to the care team
