Job summary

Ascension's Rehabilitation Services department at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay in Panama City, FL, is seeking a full-time, day-shift leader to establish departmental goals, monitor patient care quality, and oversee staffing, scheduling, payroll and budgets to realize the system's mission.

Minimum requirements include BLS within 30 days of hire and one of the Florida- or ASHA-credentialed audiologist, rehab therapist, or speech-language pathologist credentials prior to hire; leadership experience

• Audiologist, Rehab Therapist (PT/OT), or Speech-Language Pathologist credential prior to hire.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Audiologist credentialed from the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Audiologist credentialed from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Licensed Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) credentialed from the Florida Board of Occupational Therapy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 2 years of experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
