Ascension Sacred Heart Bay in Panama City, FL is hiring a Part-Time Registered Nurse for General Medicine on the Day Shift. You will provide direct patient care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds a Florida RN license (Compact State preferred), BLS within 30 days, and a Diploma in Nursing. This role emphasizes coordinated discharge planning, accurate documentation, and compassionate, quality care.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 1 month of hire date.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Florida before hire date; multi-state license recognition (Compact State) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition to the care team.
• Serve as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.


• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition \"Compact State\" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
