Job summary

PACS seeks a Director of Rehabilitation to oversee the day-to-day operations of the rehabilitation department for one or more facilities. You will supervise licensed and assistant therapists, coordinate scheduling, hire/train staff, and implement new programs to meet clinical and operational needs.

The role requires ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining accurate documentation, and traveling as needed to reach assigned destinations.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, OT or PT Assistant, and/or Speech Language Therapist.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Rehabilitation, Occupational Rehabilitation and /or Speech Language Pathology. Masters/Doctorate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises PT/OT/SLP therapists, assistants, aides and students.
• Daily scheduling for the department staff to meet facility needs.
• Ensures rehabilitation services meet residents' needs and regulatory standards.
• Maintains accurate clinical documentation reflecting provided services.
• Travels to assigned destinations as needed to reach facilities.
• Participates in denials management and productivity oversight.
