Job summary

PACS in Kentucky seeks a Director of Rehabilitation to oversee day-to-day operations of the rehab department for the assigned facility. You will supervise licensed therapists, assistants, and students, coordinate schedules and ensure high-quality patient care across inpatient and outpatient populations.

The role requires directing program development, maintaining regulatory compliance, documenting care, managing productivity, and collaborating with facility leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Physical Rehabilitation, Occupational Rehabilitation or Speech Language Pathology.
• Masters or Doctorate preferred; licensure maintained in state.
• Proficiency with Net Health and Point Click Care software.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises PT/OT/SLP staff, assistants, aides and students.
• Manages daily department scheduling to meet facility needs.
• Provides direct care and determines appropriate caseload with management.
• Ensures rehabilitation services meet regulatory standards and documentation is complete.
• Participates in denials management and supports staff performance evaluations.
• Drives program development, quality improvements and staff training.
• Travel to assigned destinations as required.
