Job summary

PACS is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation to manage day-to-day operations of the rehabilitation department across assigned facilities in the United States. The role includes overseeing direct and indirect services for inpatient and outpatient populations, supervising rehabilitation personnel, and implementing programs to meet clinical and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Physical Rehabilitation, Occupational Rehabilitation and/or Speech Language Pathology; Masters/Doctorate preferred.
• Proficient in Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Licensed as Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, OT or PT Assistant, and/or Speech Language Therapist. CA PTAs excluded.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Rehabilitation personnel in an assigned facility, including therapists, assistants, aides and students.
• Schedule department staff to meet facility needs.
• Provide direct care and determine appropriate caseload with management.
• Ensure rehabilitation needs of residents are met and services meet regulatory standards.
• Maintain complete, timely clinical documentation and compliance with policies.
