Lancaster Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Rehabilitation for a PRN role. You will join an inpatient rehab team focused on restoring independence and improving lives in a patient-centered environment.

The role emphasizes medication administration, assessments, pain management, and individualized teaching plans, with opportunities to advance through professional development and education benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania or compact state RN license.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred; CRRN preferred.
• Six months Medical/Surgical experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Administer medications safely, accurately, and based on patient age and clinical condition.
• Minimize potential for medication errors by following proper medication administration procedures.
• Assist the RN with initial assessments and patient reassessments per policy.
• Identify and implement appropriate rehabilitation nursing interventions.
• Perform timely and accurate Quality Improvement (QI) assessments under RN supervision.
• Deliver care based on patient response to treatment and update the interdisciplinary plan accordingly.
• Assess and reassess pain; use appropriate pain management techniques and educate patients and families.
• Perform all patient care tasks in a manner that promotes patient safety and reduces medical errors.
• Develop and implement individualized teaching plans based on patient and family learning needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
