Job summary

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Rehabilitation Unit. This PRN role involves direct patient care, adherence to nursing standards, and effective communication with the care team, patients, and families.

You will monitor patient status, document care, and participate in care coordination for the rehab unit, including transfers, discharges and education, with a focus on safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in Kentucky.
• Diverse clinical skills applicable to rehabilitation care.
• Active BCLS/Heart Association certification required or pending update.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care using the nursing process per standards of practice.
• Monitors and documents patient status for care team and family.
• Coordinates patient care on Rehab Unit including transfers and discharges.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborates across disciplines to ensure safe, quality care.
