Job summary

Lancaster Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our inpatient rehabilitation unit in Lancaster, PA. The role is full-time nights with a 3x12 schedule (6:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.) and a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Join a collaborative interdisciplinary care team dedicated to improving lives and patient outcomes. A PA nursing license and an associate's degree are required, with BLS, ACLS and CRRN considerations noted.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania or compact state RN license.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred; CRRN preferred.
• Six months of Medical/Surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely, accurately, and based on patient age and condition.
• Minimize medication errors by following proper procedures.
• Assist with initial assessments and patient reassessments per policy.
• Identify rehabilitation nursing interventions and implement them.
• Perform Quality Improvement assessments under RN supervision.
• Update interdisciplinary plan based on patient response and treatment.
• Assess and reassess pain; apply pain management and educate patients/families.
• Ensure patient safety and reduce medical errors in all tasks.
• Develop and implement individualized teaching plans for patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
