Job summary

HCA Healthcare Colleton Hospital is seeking a Rehabilitation Registered Nurse to collaborate with patients, families and the health care team to assess, plan, implement and coordinate a comprehensive rehabilitation program. The role focuses on mobility, cognition, activities of daily living, and communication to achieve positive patient outcomes.

The RN will provide patient exercise, skin care, and proper positioning while coordinating with rehab therapy to deliver acute medical management.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (ADN or higher).
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall accountability for assigned patients and coordinate care.
• Assist patient exercise and prevent skin breakdown through proper positioning.
• Coordinate with rehab therapy to improve mobility, cognition, ADLs and communication.
• Administer medications as ordered by clinicians.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans.
