Job summary

HCA Healthcare Colleton Hospital in Walterboro, SC seeks a Rehabilitation Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care within a rehab setting. You will work with the care team to achieve patient and department goals and ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role requires SC RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of rehab RN experience. This PRN position offers the opportunity to contribute to comprehensive patient care and participate in ongoing education

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing (Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher) is required
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina in good standing
• A current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support Health Care Provider required
• 1 year RN experience in a Rehab setting is required

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall accountability/responsibility for assigned patients
• Assist patient with exercises, skin care, and proper positioning to prevent immobility
• Coordinate with rehab therapy team to improve mobility, cognition, ADLs, and communication
• Administer medications per physician orders
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans
