Job summary

PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington is seeking an RN Charge Nurse for the Rehabilitation unit. This frontline clinical leader will coordinate daily operations, mentor staff, and ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.

The position is part-time (0.60 FTE) on day shift, offering leadership responsibilities alongside clinical practice. Ideal candidates will be graduates of an accredited School of Nursing, hold a WA RN license, and have BLS at hire with 2+

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Washington State RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
• Minimum two years of acute care nursing experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care and unit operations during the shift.
• Support and mentor nursing staff.
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model.
• Assist with staff orientation, development, and performance coaching.
• Promote teamwork and collaboration across disciplines.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
• Ensure a positive patient and family experience.
