Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Rehabilitation (ADR) in Westbrook, Maine. The role leads a multidisciplinary therapy team in a skilled nursing/post‑acute setting, balancing clinical care with operational leadership.

The ADR will support the Director of Rehabilitation, mentor PTs, PTAs, and SLPs, and help drive quality outcomes for residents in memory care, long‑term care, and short‑term rehabilitation. Not open to new graduates.

Qualifications

• Current PT, PTA, or SLP license eligible to practice in Maine.
• Previous clinical experience in skilled nursing or post‑acute rehabilitation setting.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, lead therapist, or rehabilitation management experience strongly preferred.
• New graduates are not eligible for this position.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily coordination and operations of the rehabilitation department.
• Assist with scheduling, staffing, productivity, and workflow management.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to therapy staff.
• Collaborate with the Director of Rehabilitation to drive clinical quality and resident outcomes.
• Mentor clinicians and promote evidence-based rehabilitation practices.
• Support orientation and onboarding of new therapy team members.
• Encourage ongoing professional development and clinical excellence.
• Promote a compassionate, resident-centered care approach.
