Job summary

Cascadia of Lewiston is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess patients, develop individualized rehabilitation plans, and provide direct therapy in a long-term care setting. The OT will document progress, educate families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires an OT license, CPR certification, and prior LTC experience is preferred. You will work under physician direction to improve residents' functional abilities and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school of occupational therapy.
• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist.
• Current CPR certification.
• Six months experience in a long term care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients to determine rehabilitation needs and establish treatment goals.
• Provide direct patient care and implement treatment plans under physician direction.
• Document patient progress and educate patients and families about therapy.
• Refer patients to COTA for treatment when appropriate and supervise rehab staff.
• Coordinate with facility staff and participate in care planning and meetings.
