Qualifications

• Plan, develop, organize, implement and direct physical therapy services.
• Evaluate patients to determine treatment needs and goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for compliance.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and staff.
• Educate and supervise aides and PT assistants as needed.
• Maintain continuing education to comply with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and direct PT services in the facility.
• Assess patients appropriate to age and condition.
• Document timely and accurately per regulations.
• Contribute to discharge planning and care plans.
• Instruct patients and families on treatment procedures for home use.
• Collaborate with physicians and other practitioners to adjust treatment.
