Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to oversee the day-to-day operations of the rehabilitation department for assigned facility. The DOR coordinates direct and indirect services for inpatient and outpatient populations while supervising rehabilitation personnel and guiding program development.

The role requires licensing as PT/OT/SLP and advanced degrees. Travel to meet facility needs may be required; strong leadership and compliance focus is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Physical Rehabilitation, Occupational Rehabilitation and/or Speech Language Pathology required.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, OT or PT Assistant, and/or Speech Language Therapist is required; CA PT Assistants excluded.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and guide all Rehabilitation personnel in an assigned facility.
• Prepare daily department schedule to meet facility needs and manage caseload.
• Ensure clinical documentation is complete and accurately reflects services provided.
• Participate in denials management and ensure timely claims and appeals.
• Monitor department productivity and implement new treatment programs.
• Oversee billing documentation and ensure compliance with company standards.

Education

Bachelor Degree in Physical Rehabilitation, Occupational Rehabilitation and/or Speech Language Pathology

Master's or Doctorate in Physical Rehabilitation, Occupational Rehabilitation and/or Speech Language Pathology
