Job summary

The Connection, Inc. in Torrington, CT seeks a Rehabilitation Counselor to assist adults with serious mental illness and co-occurring disorders. You will work side by side with participants, engaging in daily activities to promote recovery and build self-worth.

The role emphasizes psychosocial rehabilitation to help individuals regain purpose and confidence. This is a full-time position (40 hours), Monday–Friday, first shift, with flexibility to meet program needs, salary $20/hour.

Qualifications

• Some post-secondary education required.
• 1 year related experience preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with serious mental illness and co-occurring disorders in finding pathways through active engagement in daily activities.
• Provide psychosocial rehabilitation to help individuals regain self-worth, purpose, and confidence, focusing on strengths and recovery.
