The Connection Inc. in New Haven is seeking an Assistant Program Manager for Sierra Center Work Release to support day-to-day operations, supervise staff, and assist with scheduling and training.

Position: Assistant Program ManagerProgram: Sierra Center Work ReleaseLocation: New HavenSalary: $60,000/yearSchedule: Full time, 40 hours, 2nd shift, Tuesday-Friday (2-10p) & 1st shift, Saturday (7-3p)Program Summary:Sierra Center Work Release is a residential work release program that provides individualized treatment services, job preparation, and substance use education to adults under the supervision of DOC. These services are provided to assist with successfully re-entering the community while avoiding new offenses.Position Summary:The Assistant Program Manager is responsible for supporting the Program Manager in managing and supervising the day-to-day operations of the program including staff scheduling and supervision, training and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a residential setting and have strong communication skills, demonstrate an attention to detail, as well as understand recovery oriented and trauma informed care/programming.
